Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – When it comes to conquering the world in style, UK brand FitFlop is always a step ahead of the competition with its vibrant approach to offering an already well-‐loved product. Having started out with a functional line of everyday women’s sandals, FitFlop has now grown into showcasing a full line of footwear, which range from casual to evening for men and women.

For its Spring/Summer 2013 collection, FitFlop recently held a grand launch in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia setting the mood for a perfect tropical escape featuring FitFlop’s colorful line up of footwear for men and women.
Last February 28 to March 1, Fashion editors and writers from Asian countries such as the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand, and special guests from Singapore, Hong Kong, and South Korea were invited to enjoy the festivities that FitFlop has especially prepared.
Starting with a fun tour of the city, guests were treated to all the best things that Kuala Lumpur has to offer like the Batu Caves, KLCC, Petronas Twin Towers, shopping, and of course yummy local fare.
On a working holiday, FitFlop made sure to have a fun presentation for everyone through its Spring Summer 2013 Collection Preview Dinner, which also featured FitFlop Global product director Jill Coglan, illustrating the brand’s four key trends for the season. In relation to this, there was also a Theatrical Presentation explaining the inspirations for the season.
But the highlight of the 2-‐day event was the Rule the World Fashion Party wherein guests got to mingle with FitFlop insiders, top management from the Primer Group of Companies, and of course top fashion people from Asia. Aside from the grand fashion show, guests were also asked to give their interpretation of FitFlop’s running slogan, “Wear the Shoes. Rule the World”.
Joining in on the fun were contest winners from different countries, two pairs from each participating country were flown in to Kuala Lumpur – all expenses paid plus pocket money after their entries were chosen for the Rule the World Moment, which aimed to empower FitFlop fans around the world.
Fashion, function, and fun, FitFlop’s recent regional launch was definitely an affair to remember and a great way to kickstart the coming summer season.
